It is very tolerant of cold weather, and can be grown almost all year round, with leaf production at its peak during summer and autumn months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn ideal conditions it can be harvested approx. 7-8 weeks from sowing by taking the outer leaves as desired with scissors. Plants are low maintenance, and enjoy being kept cool and damp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is very slow to bolt to seed, however if you remove any flowering stems that may appear you will encourage production of new leaf.
