All of these seeds were lovingly grown organically by Gail and John at Winding River Homestead, a small 65 acre farm and homestead overlooking the Waima River in Hokianga.
Their focus is on self-reliance, producing nutrient dense food, using permaculture principles and concepts to manage and look after their land in a regenerative way and to support themselves to live simply.
Winding River Homestead is organic (not certified) and has a productive garden, orchards, woodlots, and a range of livestock including Dexter and Guernsey cattle, Wiltshire Sheep, Geese and Chooks.
Gail and John are passionate about growing healthy food and grow mostly heritage varieties of plants and animals.
